Abstract :
Communication facilities, exploiting the entire HF channel band or the greater part of it, have been widely introduced today. At the same time there are no models of the channel permitting realisation of the testing and trials, and, finally, investigations into the operation of wide-band communication systems under conditions close to actual. We give an account of the build-up and operational experience of computer simulations, designed in terms of the structural-physical (SP) approach to simulate an ionospheric radio channel
