Abstract
In this paper, a Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) ad-hoc network is considered. To ensure quality of service for the network users, each active link needs to satisfy a minimum-rate constraint. In this case, the outage probability of each link is asymptotically studied as a function of the number of users. Indeed, this analysis shows the rate at which the outage probability increases as more users are admitted to the network. The theoretical results presented in the paper can be used as an estimate of the outage probability in practical situations.
