Abstract :
This paper puts forward the strategy for the transformation of the historical architecture in Tanhualin Block by investigating such buildings which are combined with the historical and cultural background of the block as well as government department´s new planning policy. It states different methods for the ecological transformation of the Tanhualin area on three aspects: utilization, transformation and upgrading through analysis and research on the value in use and the existing problems of the buildings in the block, and then presents principles and suggestions for the transformation of Tanhualin region.
