Abstract :
This paper has outlined the rationale for using the Real Frequency Technique as a method of synthesising matching networks and reviewed one very low-cost program that implements this technique, namely the RFT Impedance Matching Toolbox program. It has been shown that this program is constrained to synthesise only lowpass networks and this inhibits its application to bandpass matching problems
