Abstract :
The main focus of this paper is on the use of intelligent agents to gather, filter, and fuse information in the database domain, and as it pertains to agent security, agent communication, and information search and retrieval methods. It is intended as a roadmap for answering the question “are intelligent agents the link between the database and the artificial intelligence communities?”
