Abstract :
It is generally believed that the karst development, weak geotechnical property and rapid changes in hydrodynamic conditions of groundwater are the main factors to cause karst collapses, while we have insufficient understanding of the hydrochemical actions. Exploitation of groundwater has accelerated the process of partial water cycle, in addition that, water quality environment\´s changement such as water pollution and acid rain strengthen the corrosion of carbonates and eluviation of the soil, and cause to increase the salinity of the groundwater; The eluviation test using limestone and karst water of the karst collapses area as the material shows that increasing the water chemical composition and speeding up the water cycle both contribute to the dissolution of carbonate. Therefore we infer that it will be strength the eluviation of the soil, and it lead to soil become crisp due to "loss of "calcium and magnesium. The enhancement of corrosion of carbonates and eluviation of soil promote the emergence of karst land collapse.
