Abstract
In this paper, we discuss the stabilization problem for a class of discrete-time nonlinear polynomial systems. By employing state-dependent polynomial Lyapunov functions, a solution based on the sums of squares (SOS) theory is proposed for state feedback stabilization with or without Hinfin performance. Sufficient solvability conditions are given which can be solved by the recently developed SOS solvers.
