This paper analyzes the scale structure and the spatial structure of Shanxi Province based the fractal theory. By calculating the scale structure of fractal dimension and spatial structure of the aggregation dimension and correlation dimension, the results show that the urban system in Shanxi Province has a fractal structure but the primate city is not prominent. The spatial structure is quite centralized, but also has some unreasonable places. This paper states some advises on the theory mentioned above.
