    A comparative experimental study of 4 transformations from RGB to IHS colour space (classical, Bajon transformation, HSV, HLS) is presented. Two criteria: the maximal consistency of HS clusters, which represent the colour objects on the HS plane and the minimal time of realization of transformation are considered
