  • Abstract
    A dual-band bandpass filter using a new dual-band dual-behavior resonator (DBR) structure is proposed. The new dual-band DBR consists of only two stopband elements connected in parallel. One is a uniform impedance open-circuited stub, the other is a stepped impedance open-circuited stub. The concept of stepped impedance resonator (SIR) is utilized to realize the second band characteristics at desired frequencies. Experimental results in microstrip technology are presented which validate our idea.
