Abstract :
An amplitude-phase method is proposed allowing the determination of the complex dielectric permittivity of underlying surfaces based on the results of relative measurements of the signals in the orthogonal channels of a polarimetric radar receiver. The method assumes the determination of the voltage ratio and the phase difference in the orthogonal channels
