With the development of economic globalization and the strengthening of trade liberalization trend, traditional tariff barriers have lost function, Technical Barrier to Trade (TBT) has become an important form of non-tariff barriers in international trade. It has hindered normal development of international trade. In recent years, China´s foreign food trade has also been constrained by TBT of some import countries. This article first explains TBT and its impact form on food trade, and it presents the status of global and China´s food trade, further effect model is used to systematically study the impact of TBT on China´s food export, finally, the countermeasures are explored to TBT suffered in China´s food Trade.
