Abstract :
This paper studies the Implicit Error Correction (IEC) near-Video on Demand (nVoD) schema, which relies on the intrinsic redundancy of nVoD protocols, in channels that deliver damaged data. The results rather than discard show that IEC provides good protection against errors without increasing the bandwidth requirements of other schemas for the same error probability.
