  • Abstract
In the earthquake, the beam-column joints with adequate strength and deformation is the key point to guarantee the overall seismic performance of the frame structures. View of their key role in the frame, it is necessary to systematically analysis on the shear strength. Based on the collection of test results on the seismic performance of the joints during the past few decades, the main factors, such as concrete strength, axial load ratio, transverse reinforcement characteristic values, beam bar bond index, shear compression ratio and longitudinal reinforcement ratio of column, were compared and analyzed to improve the performance of the joints.
