Abstract :
The test of the dynamic response of the simply supported concrete-filled steel tubular beams under blast load was carried out, and the midspan strain time-history curves and eventual deflection were measured. The results show that under the same pressure, the beam with bigger casing hoop steel coefficient has stronger anti-explosion ability than others. The single-degree-of-freedom theoretical analysis was also carried out and the results meet well with those of the test.
