Traditional cultures are being impacted terribly in the current background of internationalization and globalization. Some territorial features and historical heritages are being lost, and some existing ancient towns and old streets pressed by new buildings are gradually drowned in the modern civilization. Taking the historical block of Shuidong Town, Xuancheng City for an example, the article analyses and studies the human and history, current buildings, characteristic landscapes, spatial pattern, combined with effects of multi-cultures and based on sufficient investigation. Then appropriate suggestions and measures are proposed to support decision making in protection and renaissance of the traditional villages.
