Abstract :
In this paper, the finite element method (FEM) is used for the simulation of scattering problems. The SSOR-BCG solver is used for the solution of the FEM linear system. The accuracy of FEM and the efficiency of SSOR-BiCG are tested by simulating the scattering of a lossy dielectric sphere in the final of the paper.
