In the background that lots of major cities suppress the second industry and develop the third industry in China, medium-sized cities get the opportunity of development, which led to increasingly serious traffic problems. Then, setting Bus Rapid Transit in medium-sized cities is an important way to alleviate the traffic pressure. In this paper, it takes setting conditions of Bus Rapid Transit in Medium-sized cities as the research object, and analyzes from two levels of the macro and micro. Through specifically researching on six sides including urban development stage, spatial structure, passenger flow, economic and policy, reconstruction of existing roads, convergence with the traditional bus, it comes to the conclusion of appropriate conditions for setting Bus Rapid Transit in Medium-sized cities.
