Abstract :
A new dual-mode microstrip bandpass filter using hexagonal meander loop resonator with a circular patch is presented in this paper. Only one mode characteristics are affected by changing the size of the circular patch. A coupling matrix is synthesized and validates the proposed coupling scheme. Compact size, low insertion loss and high selectivity characteristics are realized by this type of filter. The filter is evaluated by experiment and simulation with good agreement.
