Abstract :
The paper presents laboratory testing of a novel error driven modulated impedance scheme for voltage/wind power stabilization of a stand alone squirrel cage induction generator driven wind energy conversion scheme (WECS). The generator has self excitation capacitors and a novel modulated impedance-filter to stabilize the load bus voltage and ensure maximum wind power utilization under wind gusting and electric load excursions.
