Abstract
The reliability of an AC source in the telecommunication field has greatly increased thanks to the redundancy principle implemented in digitally controlled inverters running in a parallel system. To improve the safety of such a system, supervision architecture has to be elaborated around the inverter system. An inverter supervisor (IS) is presented. It can be integrated in a system in 2 different ways: either as a local main supervision unit for a simple system or as an interface mechanism in a more complex installation. The two approaches are discussed
