Abstract :
This paper analyzed the present situation of network engineering major at home and abroad. Under the background of international trend of higher engineering education, combined with advanced educational concept of engineering and CDIO reform, this fostering professional talent of net-work engineering major plan proposed a program from orientation training of talent, training program designing and curriculum reform. It provided an appropriate mode of relative majors to local engineering colleges that meets international standard and serves needs of local economy.
