Abstract :
A broadband circular polarization patch antenna, differential-fed by a pair of folded plate, is proposed. The use of the two patches can broaden the bandwidth and the differential-feeding can provide a good symmetrical pattern. The impedance bandwidth (VSWR<;2) of the proposed antenna is 38.5%. The axis ratio (AR) at the centre frequency of 2 GHz is 2.3 dB in measurement. Besides, the radiation pattern, both E-plane and H-plane, are symmetrical respectively.
