Research on the Role of E-education of Universities in Learning Society

With the rapid development of internet technology, the universities use the modernized internet technology to make the sharp development of high education. This essay begins with the meaning and characteristics of e-education, and analyzes the significant meaning of promoting the implementation of e-education in universities. The essay makes contrast between the development of e-education in China and in other foreign countries according to some aspects: school system, orientation of development, mode of teaching, resources of learning, etc. The essay analyzes the problems occurred in the operation of e-education in the universities, referencing to the experience of foreign countries; furthermore, puts forward some solutions.
