  • Abstract
The purpose of paper is to discuss the application of system theory in the optimization of land use structure, based on an empirical study on Qinghe county. Firstly this paper analyses the present situation and existing problems of land use structure in Qinghe; And then, in combination with the requirement of economic development and related planning, a grey linear programming model is established to construct three alternative schemes of land use structure; finally, the best optimized scheme is selected by using analytic hierarchy process method. The result shows that the ratio of cultivated land, garden land, forest land, other farming land, city and town, village, industrial and mining land, traffic land, water conservancy, other construction land, and unused land in Qinghe county should be adjusted to 68.03:3.14:1.91:5.56:6.06:10.72:0.14:1.57:0.07:0.10:2.71 by 2020, which will contribute to maximize ecological, economic and social benefits of land use, and promote local sustainable development.
