Abstract
The rising of Central China is now a major national strategy. Modern logistics industry plays an extremely important supporting role in the construction of economic zones in the Central China, at the same time the Central Economic Zones also provide tremendous opportunities for the development of modern logistics industry. Therefore, the logistics industry should be closely related with the development of the Central Economic Zones. In this paper, the author used DEA model to analyze logistics development level and respective strengths and weaknesses of the six provinces of Central China (Henan, Shanxi, Hubei, Hunan, Anhui, Jiangxi) by a number of input and output indicators, and put forward some suggestions for the development of logistics industry in these Central Economic Zones.
