An Anatomy to SaaS Business Mode Based on Internet

As a rapidly growing mode of software licensing contrast to traditional perpetual-use license, SaaS users buy subscriptions from software vendors. Two kinds of application infrastructure modes of software suppliers, SaaS (software as a service) and ASP (application service provider), were compared, and then combined with China´s concrete conditions, main distinction between SaaS and ASP were stated briefly. The technique and infrastructure, product selection and service mode of SaaS were discussed in the paper. Advantages and disadvantages of SaaS business mode were analyzed. A conclusion is that SaaS mode could help software suppliers in China gain more and longer and contribute to china SME informatization.
