Abstract :
Data consistency is an important problem for mobile e-commerce networks. Based on the analysis of traditional algorithms, a novel distributed mobile data consistency algorithm called DCAM is proposed for mobile networks. The algorithm, which is constructed with read/write character and based on the token-asking algorithm, utilizes the Lamport´s logical timestamps to ensure the time sequence and the validity of control messages. And it reduces the response delay of mobile networks through message multiplexing and distinguishing read/write operation sets. At last, it makes a trade-off between the message complexity and the response delay. Performance analysis and simulation results show that the algorithm can be accommodated to the requirements of mobile E-commerce networks. Compared with traditional algorithms, it has lower message complexity, shorter response delay and better fairness.
