Abstract :
In this paper, a new power converter capable of operating in high frequency, featuring high efficiency and improved circuit EMI characteristics is presented. The main characteristic of this power converter is to work with nonpulsating input and output current. Besides, it presents zero voltage switching (ZVS) in the main and auxiliary switches as well as minimum voltage stress. The principle of operation is explained and experimental results taken from a 600 W, 25 kHz laboratory prototype is presented
