Abstract :
A registration protocol is proposed in this paper to implement secure functions which include authentication between the mobile unit and home agent for verification together with key management between the mobile unit and home agent and between the mobile unit and the remote agent for secure transmission. The protocol can protect the transmission from fraud, attacks such as reply and wiretap. Location privacy is also achieved. A reset protocol is designed to restore the system once when system fails. The security is verified by taking several security and privacy requirements into consideration
