Abstract
In this paper a hybrid GDI based 9T full adder and 4-bit ripple carry adder (RCA) are designed, which reduces power consumption and area of digital circuits while maintaining low complexity of logic design. The proposed full adder and RCA has been designed in MICROWIND environment with 0.12μm technology. The performances such as area and power consumption of the proposed RCA is analysed and compared with different RCAs.
