Abstract :
Under complex background, a problem need to be solved urgently is to realize fast license plate locating. According to the characteristics of vehicle image speeding, with tapes of mathematical morphology based on edge detection, regional selection. Through the practical engineering application, indicate that this method is stable and good adaptability, can accurate positioning licence.
