Abstract
Wireless connectivity fits well within many different work scenarios. New uses for wireless communications are being discovered daily. The marketplace is dominated by wireless products which insert directly into desktop PCs. The future expansion for wireless LANs will lie with portable PCs, especially as the PCMCIA interface on laptops become more readily available and accessible. Wireless technology (particularly wireless LANs) offer a good solution to the problems of mobility, flexibility, installability and availability
