Abstract :
This paper treats the methodological problems of optimization of complex mechanical systems based on a stochastic approach to goal function behavior. The problem of nonlinear programming is regarded. The chaos conception is expressed arbitrarily for coordinate directions and for step lengths. Special procedures let us take into account previous iterations and to use the stochastic characteristics of the goal function typical of mechanical systems
