Abstract :
This paper investigates the stability property of a linearized first order hyperbolic system with special boundary conditions, which appears in the field of nonlinear chemical tubular reactor dynamics. The stability is discussed for the linearized controlled system of Huang (1985) in the framework of C0-semigroup theory and some stability criteria are given in terms of system parameters
