Abstract :
To overcome the shortcoming of software project schedule estimation method and improve the success rate of software projects, a systemic method of software project schedule management was studied combined with some actual project cases. Considering the feature of middle and small-sized software projects, the effort and the stage effort distribution were obtained and divided to get the schedule. During the schedule division, the reliability and usability of the resources were ensured by reconciling the resources. The further division and the monitoring and control of the schedule plan were also studied. The actual data indicate that this model could be used for schedule management of middle and small software projects effectively and could obtain continuous improvement.
