Abstract :
Interference and fading inherent to the radio channel limit the capacity of wireless systems. To overcome these impairments, we adopt parallel symbol transmission scheme and propose a protocol that adjusts the duration (or length) of symbols based on the past instantaneous channel and interference conditions. We demonstrate that the proposed system can provide performance improvements over the existing systems.
