Architecture and metadata description based on education resource grid

Grid is a hot technology to achieve sharing, managing education resource, and to provide information services. In view of the phenomenon of Information Island in education resource, this paper tries to apply grid technology into the construction of education resource, through which it proposes the architecture of education resource in the grid environment, establishes metadata description model of education resource, and uses the grid resource description framework (RDF) to describe the metadata. This may provide a new thinking and guide for the sharing of education resource.
