Abstract :
A new type of single-feed printed antenna with circular polarization operating at 2 GHz and consisting of two orthogonal slots is presented. The impedances of the orthogonal slots are complexly conjugated so that the slot voltages are in quadrature. In analysis and optimization, the extension of Booker´s concept of complementary/dual structures is applied. According to this concept, complementary/dual dipoles on magnetic substrate instead of slots on dielectric substrate are analyzed.
