Abstract :
In this paper, we give new sufficient linear matrix inequality conditions that guarantee the existence of globally converging observers for systems with both positive and non- positive slope nonlinearities. The proposed design method is basically founded on the concept of the circle criterion in continuous-time. Many examples are studied to show both the novelty and the efficacy of the obtained theoretical results.
