Abstract
This paper has discussed the fire-induced smoke flow geometry characteristics in irregular confined spaces, and use LES and mixture fraction numerically methods to compute the smoke flow in a round cross sectional confined spaces. Computed results has validated the forecast of the flow course, showing that the smoke layer descending faster upper the fire source than other locations. Along with the longitudinal and transverse size increase, the temperatures below 2 cm and 1/4D of the top obvious decline, meanwhile the max temperature of the top has delayed.
