Scice 1985, Polanyi proposed the conception of “tacit knowledge”, caused the interests of different subjects scholars, such as philosophy, psychology, pedagogy, linguistics, management science and information and computer science, etc. The scholars analyzed huge connotations of Polanyi´s theory from different angles and field of view, and have made great achievements. The paper attempts to discuss related research of the tacit knowledge in different areas, to further unravel the mysteries of tacit knowledge, and make related theory of the tacit knowledge play a role in practice.
