Innovation of higher education management is required by the building of national innovation system, as well as by the development need of the higher education itself. The higher education management includes all of the planning, management, coordination and controlling of the higher education activities. This paper suggests a novel higher education management pathway: building up a management team with innovative thoughts; establishing a platform of innovation and encourage intra-disciplinary research; establishing the mechanism that is favorable to innovative personnel, and hence improving the overall innovative capability of the higher education.
