Abstract
For low-cost sales of online shopping and keeping large consumer groups, online shop become an overwhelming trend, the same industry competitors having been springing up. Undoubtedly, to merchants, how to predict the most popular product accurately by mathematical method is naturally is a most valuable problem. Sellers can grasp that part of the best-selling products forecasted to layout to the most reasonable location of online shop. In the article, we propose this kind of mathematical method- Markov chains model, which can solve it effectively. The article introduce some important concepts about the predict model firstly, then describe special process of prediction with an actual example where we get corresponding transition probability matrix& state transition probability vector by calculation following the formular principle. Last, interpret and analysis its experimental results. Further, point out where is the worth of the prediction.
