Abstract

With 22 new material listed companies on the ChiNext board as research samples, we build up a factor analysis model to evaluate their growth according to the characteristics of small and medium-sized high-tech companies as well as ones with high growth. Then we divide these sample companies into VC-backed companies and those that are not supported by VC to study empirically if VC has significant influence on enterprise´s growth through independent samples T-test. Accordingly this paper puts forward policy suggestions to regulate the VC behavior and promote the healthy development of the ChiNext board.
