The effect of micro-grooves array on the surface of swiveling tribopairs on reduction friction was investigated. The parameters set of microgrooves including surface characteristics parameters and array parameters was checked and studied. Surface profiles meter was used to obtain surface topographies near texturing grooves, and Abbott curve was mapped for study on abrasion resistance. The coefficient of friction for various textured grooves on given conditions was measured in national tribometer, and nonlinear fitting method was adopted in analysis of the novel declaratory model, which comes from Lorentz curve and proposed for tribological problems here. Meanwhile, Abbott curve was mapped for talking about the effects of texturing arrays on abrasion resistance. Results show that distance between two parallel grooves about 500μm, widths on the datum surface and on the bottom of grooves or so are 33μm and 20μm, separately, and deep of groove is deeper and better, the set shows some kind of optimal parameters have been obtained, to some extent, in the literature.
