Summary form only given as follows. This presentation is designed for faculty and administration who have questions concerning and coping with mad moments in the classroom. Project specific break-out sessions on controversial subjects, angry student responses, unprepared students, learning disabilities, and gender-sensitive issues are considered. Discussion will support actions that enhance faculty members´ knowledge of approaches to managing stressful classroom situations. The area of motivation is one of the content threads along which faculty will create strategies for effective coping
