Managing controversial and sensitive classroom issues

Summary form only given as follows. This presentation is designed for faculty and administration who have questions concerning and coping with mad moments in the classroom. Project specific break-out sessions on controversial subjects, angry student responses, unprepared students, learning disabilities, and gender-sensitive issues are considered. Discussion will support actions that enhance faculty members´ knowledge of approaches to managing stressful classroom situations.
