Taking the material flow analysis theory and the ecological footprint theory as the basis of environmental stress assessment of mineral resources exploitation, this thesis builds an assessment index system composed of four index categories of aggregates, bearing capacity, intensity index and efficiency index, which includes nine indexes of region environmental load of mineral resources exploitation, region integrated ecological footprint of mineral resources exploitation, effective ecological area of mineral resources exploitation, standard ecological area of mineral resources exploitation, environment stress of mineral resources exploitation, ecological footprint intensity of mineral resources exploitation, Ecological overload intensity of mineral resources exploitation, region environment efficiency of mineral resources exploitation and region ecological efficiency of mineral resources exploitation.
