The comprehensive assessment analyses for level of science and Technology Progress in 2005 – 2009 Henan Province

In the last five years, through analyzing 2005 - 2009 Level of Science and Technology Progress monitoring report in Henan Province, we may conclude that the environment of scientific and technological progress in Henan Province is not improving remarkably, the capital input of technology activity has improved some but the output level of S&T activities is still relatively low, the industrialization of new and high technologies promote relatively slow and S&T function which promotes economic and social development is relatively small. On the whole, the level of S&T progress has improved in Henan Province, but the level of technological progress is relatively improved too slowly and is decreased comparing to the other areas. There is before us a heavy responsibility and a long way to go about the scientific and technological progress in Henan Province.
