Abstract :
It is very important to choose reasonable test data for testing and verifying the correctness of a program, and this paper discusses and analyzes the methods of how to design the program test data in detail. It deems that the method of equivalent type division can be used for choosing the test data of a program when there is a clear-cut input data area, and the method of boundary value analysis can be used when the extreme value is known. The methods of logical covering test which includes command covering, judgment covering, condition covering, judgment and condition covering, and condition combination covering can also be used while the internal structure of the program is understood. The test data chosen by comprehensive utilization of these methods will achieve the best results of program test.
